Mountain Bluebells (Mertensia ciliata)

Mountain Bluebells (Mertensia ciliata) are a herbaceous perennial plant species native to western North America. They bloom in late spring to early summer and are pollinated by hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. The plants die back to the ground in the fall and reemerge from their underground rhizomes in the spring.
